About Me

Welcome to Wild Heart K9

I'm Amber Marino, founder and teacher. I believe dog training should be led with intention and heart. Intention is knowing what you’re doing. Heart is trusting why you’re doing it. At Wild Heart K9, our goal is to help you build a healthy relationship with your dog by understanding their body language, emotions, and intentions. When you honor your dog’s perspective, you open the door to a stronger connection.

My Approach

My approach is heart-centered, guiding you to tap into your intuition and inner knowing. By tuning in, you'll learn to make choices that resonate with you and feel right for you and your dog. Through experiential learning, we'll explore and discover solutions together, helping you to confidently navigate your dog training journey.

Building a Healthy Relationship

I believe that a strong relationship with your dog is built on trust, respect, healthy communication, adventure, and joy. These elements allow you to connect with your dog on a deeper level, encouraging a sense of safety, confidence, and cooperation.

I also believe that dogs come into our lives for a purpose. I think they're here to help us grow, change, and become the people we're meant to be. If we allow ourselves to be open to the lessons that come from our animals, it can strengthen our bond with them in ways we never thought possible.

My Journey

Sometimes pain sparks a new path. The last few years have been filled with loss, heartbreak, trauma, and irreversible change. As I try to steady myself and rebuild, a saying repeats in my head. “Help others to help heal yourself".

And with that, Wild Heart K9 was born.

Looking back, it's always been my calling to work with animals, and as I journey through life, I realize that animals and healing can go hand in hand. We all have a story, and that story can come with deep wounds, triggers, and patterns. Animals are no different.

Everyday life presents numerous triggers for both people and dogs. I encourage you to look at them. Identify the trigger, identify the current pattern, and then change the pattern. That’s how we create lasting change.

Taking a Step

I believe if you've made it to our website, there's a reason why. If you're ready to make a shift, schedule an evaluation and let's begin this journey together.
